Celebrate Spring!

Earth Day Party: Have you seen the mysterious pink-wrapped package in the library lobby? The grand unveiling of the library's newest community resource will be at noon on Earth Day, April 22nd. Be the first to learn more, and enjoy some cake to celebrate! We'll be answering questions and serving refreshments (while they last) from noon to 5pm.

earthSpring Vacation Activities: Need something to do with the kids over spring vacation? We have plenty of programs planned! Join The Bubble Man on Tuesday at 1pm and learn the science (and maybe even magic) behind bubbles. On Wednesday at 1pm, get moving with Pinto Bella, who will show us how to hula hoop! On Thursday at 1pm we will be having a Zumba program (grades 3 and up), and on Friday there will be a special Arbor Day storytime at 2pm. No sign-up is required for any of these programs. Jeff Boyer takes bubbles to the max in this one-man bubble extravaganza. Mixing comedy, music, and interactive bubble-magic, he engaged and delights audiences of all ages! This program is sponsored by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Program. No sign-up is required, and all ages are welcome!

Pinto Bella, a certified Hoopnotica instructor, will be teaching us how to combine hoops, dance, aerobics, and laughter! Join us for a wonderful family event--outside, if the weather is nice! No sign-up is required, and all ages are welcome. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Topsfield Library.

Thursday, April 24th
Grades 3 and up

Shake off your cabin fever with Zumba! Zumba is a dance and aerobic fitness program, incorporating many styles of dance (hip hop, salsa, samba, merengue, and more!), martial arts, and traditional exercises like squats and lunges. No sign-up is required. This program is geared towards grades 3 and up, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Topsfield Town Library.

Christine Green will teach us what happens at a farm and where our food comes from. There will be veggies and even chickens from the farm, interactive songs and games, and more!
