Friends of the Topsfield Town Library
The Friends of the Topsfield Town Library are a very active and dynamic group of people who are committed to the mission of the Library:
- To promote knowledge and wider use of the Library and its services
- To assist in providing services and to aid in the development of broader and better programs for all age groups
- To develop public support and by provide funds for items beyond the Library’s ordinary budget
- To increase the community’s cultural advantage
How to Join:
The Friends membership form is part of the annual Fall Newsletter and can be returned to the library via mail or in person at the library's main desk. If you did not receive a newsletter in the mail, you can pick one up at the library or download a PDF copy of the membership form. The membership year runs from October 1st through September 30th. Dues are:
Senior Membership - $ 5.00
Family Membership - $20.00
Corporate Membership - $50.00
Benefits:
As a member of the Friends, museum passes are available to many local museums and parks. You will also receive Friends newletters detailing coming events and special programming. Most importantly, your membership enables the Friends to provide ongoing support to the Library, which in turn helps the Library maintain its important and critical role in the community.
Get active!
The Friends typically meet on the second Wednesday of each month. Please check the Library calendar for the meeting schedule as it may vary in time and location. Contributing your time and ideas is a great way to get involved with the community. Attend one of the meetings and see what the Friends are all about. New ideas and faces are always welcome!
